During a tour of the Lockyer Valley, RDAIWM Chair Cr Janice Holstein and Scott Buchholz MP Federal Member for Wright visited the Laidley Cultural Centre Auditorium which is scheduled to undergo some maintenance for improvements from 19 April 2021 through to 28 May 2021.

During this time, the bulk of works will be completed between 19 April 2021 to 30 April 2021 with acoustic engineering tests being completed in the weeks after.

The Laidley Cultural Centre Auditorium is utilized by local performing arts and community groups for entertainment functions. Improvement works to the acoustic properties of the hall will enhance the acoustic profile of the room and create more intimate functions.

It is important to note that the auditorium will be unavailable for bookings from 19 April 2021 to 30 April 2021 as the bulk of works are undertaken.
