Connecting Job Seekers and Businesses at the My Future Starts Here Employment Summit
The My Future Starts Here – Employment Summit in Wivenhoe brought together organisations, businesses and job seekers from across the region to connect, learn and explore employment opportunities.
Hosted by ETC – Employment and Training, the summit focused on supporting local workforce development and creating pathways into employment and training.
Representing Regional Development Australia Ipswich & West Moreton at the event were Rees Banks, Liz Conroy, Project Manager for Springfield Regional Jobs Committee and Janne Dipple, Project Manager for Women in Agriculture. The team spent the day engaging with job seekers, local businesses and community organisations passionate about building stronger futures for the region.
The event also provided an opportunity to reconnect with John Perry from the Local Jobs Taskforce Wivenhoe and Shayne Neumann MP.
The summit highlighted the importance of collaboration between industry, community and support organisations in helping people access meaningful career opportunities while supporting local businesses and regional growth.
