Construction Begins on Toogoolawah Gateway Project
Construction is now underway on the Toogoolawah Gateway Project (officially the Toogoolawah Library and Cultural Centre), marking an exciting milestone for the Somerset region.
Located on Cressbrook Street, the $5.2 million project is jointly funded by the Australian Government and Somerset Regional Council and will deliver a modern community hub designed to strengthen local services, support community wellbeing, and enhance the visitor experience along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
While construction is still in its early stages, with site works now visible, the project is already generating excitement within the local community. Once completed, the facility will provide a welcoming space for residents and visitors alike, helping to further establish Toogoolawah as a key destination within the region.
Regional Development Australia Ipswich & West Moreton congratulates Somerset Regional Council on reaching this important milestone and looks forward to seeing the project progress over the coming months.
The Toogoolawah Gateway Project represents a significant investment in the future of the Somerset region, creating a lasting community asset that will benefit residents and visitors for years to come.
