Employer Support Sessions Connect with Somerset Businesses in Esk

RDA Ipswich & West Moreton CEO Rees Banks and Women in Agriculture Project Manager Janne Dipple met with local employers in Esk this week as part of the Workforce Connections Employer Support Sessions, providing practical, one-on-one support to businesses looking to strengthen their workforce.

The sessions gave employers the opportunity to discuss local recruitment challenges, learn how to advertise vacancies through the free IWM Jobs platform and explore workforce development opportunities, including Microsoft 365 and digital skills training.

Delivered through the Workforce Connections project, the sessions are designed to make recruitment easier for regional employers by connecting businesses with practical tools, local support and training opportunities that help attract, recruit and retain staff.

Additional Employer Support Sessions will be held throughout July, giving businesses another opportunity to connect with the team and access free recruitment support.

Upcoming sessions:

  • Lowood Library – 20 July
  • Kilcoy Visitor Information Centre – 27 July
  • 10:00am – 1:00pm

Employers interested in learning more about the free support available are encouraged to drop in to one of the upcoming sessions or connect with the Workforce Connections team.
