Zonta Club of Brisbane’s annual Advancement of Women Award has increased to $10,000 for the first time, up from $7,500.

It recognises individuals of any gender, profession or background who champion women and create new opportunities for them across social, community, economic, academic, political or workplace settings.

This year’s increase reflects the Club’s continued investment in recognising and empowering those advancing women in our community. It’s now one of the more substantial club-level awards for women’s advancement in Australia.

Each year, the award supports initiatives that progress the status of women, facilitate women’s advancement and amplify the impact of their work.

Past winners include trailblazing professional women, entrepreneurs, community leaders and innovators who are making a difference.

Eligibility: Nominees must be based in Queensland.
