Funds organisations and initiatives that serve multicultural communities in Australia, with a particular focus on local grassroots, Australian-based groups that have not received funding support from elsewhere.

Target Beneficiaries:
- Organisations and initiatives that serve multicultural communities in Australia, with a particular focus on local grassroots, Australian-based groups that have not received funding support from elsewhere.
- Priority is given to underserved and underrepresented community groups facing barriers to funding and resources.

Focus Areas: Projects must align with one or more of the foundation's strategic priorities:
- Education: Providing access to quality education through scholarships, mentorship programs, or educational resources
- Capacity Building: Enhancing employment opportunities via skills training, job placement, or career development
- Health: Addressing health disparities and improving access to essential healthcare services
- Women and Youth Empowerment: Promoting leadership, entrepreneurship, meaningful employment, and community engagement among women and youth.

The Australian Communities Foundation on behalf of the Bruce Wong Foundation may assist highly commended organisations recommended by the Board for funding, that do not meet DGR1 status in identifying a suitable auspicing partner.

Both single-year and multi-year projects will be considered.

High-impact projects may be considered outside of standard funding cycles on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for funding, organisations must be registered as a DGR1 entity or be auspiced by an organisation with DGR1 status.
