The Youi Student Grant

At Youi, we’re all about doing things in a You-shaped way – from insurance to how we support the community.

In 2026 we’re once again backing students with unique skillsets, experiences and perspectives who do things in their own, You-shaped way, with a $5,000 grant to help bring their ambitions to life.

This year's essay topic will outline why receiving this grant would be beneficial to you and why you should be considered – with a maximum word count of 1,000 words. You might wish to include details such as challenges you’ve overcome, contributions you plan to make, your academic and professional achievements, and the impact the grant would have for you.

Creates an opportunity for extraordinary students from a wide range of disciplines to achieve their potential where financially they may not otherwise be able to.

To be eligible to apply for the Youi Student Grant you must:
- Be enrolled in full-time study with an accredited Australian Tertiary Institution at the date of submitting your application
- Be studying at an undergraduate level for a certificate, diploma or degree
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia
- Be 18 years or older.

To showcase your skills, you'll be required to write an essay about a specific topic and include answers to discussion questions within your analysis.
