Women & Change Grant

Opened 1 Jun 2026
Closes 17 Jul 2026
Category Community

Overview

This year Women & Change (W&C), Queensland's first women's giving collective, are celebrating a milestone of collectively donating over $1 million to organisations changing the lives of vulnerable Queenslanders.

Women & Change has a history of finding and funding small to medium size NFP's and charities with their large philanthropic grants. Their point of difference is they ask organisations to tell them what they need - not the other way around.

In 2026 W&C are very motivated to find those projects or programmes that are trying something new - the kind of project or programme that doesn't yet qualify for government funding. W&C are also keen to find organisations working with underserved communities, remote locations or emerging issues. They want to hear from organisations that are doing something different and who have the ability to deliver impact but need a grant of $50,000 to make it happen in 2027.

W&C members are interested in projects that deliver sustainable, long-term change. This grant is not intended to replace current funding sources for existing projects or to provide general revenue for business-as-usual activities.

Women & Change will consider applications for any demonstrable need, including operational, infrastructure or capacity-building support, where it is clear that philanthropic funding will make a tangible and measurable difference to the quality of life of individuals and communities in Queensland.
