Applications are now open for the Indigenous Workforce and Skills Development Grant, supporting projects that create training, skills and employment pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Queensland.Funding of up to $350,000 is available for eligible place-based projects designed to strengthen workforce participation and connect people with meaningful employment opportunities.
The program also includes wage subsidies of up to $20,000, helping employers provide employment opportunities and support Indigenous Queenslanders into the workforce.
Applications for place-based projects close 8 October 2026.
Organisations and employers across the Ipswich and West Moreton region are encouraged to explore the funding available and check their eligibility.
