More than just training: Women in Agriculture building lasting connections

Sometimes the most valuable thing you take away from a training course isn't found in the training manual!

That's certainly been the case for participants in RDA Ipswich & West Moreton's Women in Agriculture Farm Business Management courses, delivered in partnership with UQ Skills.

Following successful courses in Gatton and Esk, one of the most inspiring outcomes has been the connections formed between the women attending.

While participants have gained valuable business knowledge and practical skills, the opportunity to share experiences, celebrate successes and learn from each other's challenges has been equally rewarding.

The feedback from graduates has been overwhelmingly positive, with the courses creating a supportive environment where women can connect with others who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of working in agriculture.

Now it's Boonah's turn!

The latest Farm Business Management course has brought another group of women together in Boonah, continuing the project's focus on building business confidence, strengthening skills and creating meaningful connections across the agricultural community.

Beyond the classroom, these networks have the potential to provide ongoing encouragement, knowledge sharing and support long after the training is complete.

Because when you bring a group of passionate women in agriculture together, the opportunities extend well beyond the course itself!

RDA Ipswich & West Moreton thanks UQ Skills and Scenic Rim Regional Council for their support in helping deliver opportunities for women across our region.
