Rees and Bri recently visited Esk for a catch-up with Somerset Regional Council, sharing regional updates, opportunities and exciting developments underway.A key focus of the discussion was the continued development of the RDA IWM website, including new features designed to make regional information more accessible to local councils, businesses and communities.
These include Regional Funding Records, bringing together recorded Australian and Queensland Government grants and funding awarded across Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and Somerset, and Regional Data Insights, providing easier access to valuable regional statistics to support planning, investment and informed decision-making.
These resources can be explored through the RDA IWM website: https://www.rdaiwm.org.au/investment/
The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss regional priorities and strengthen the ongoing relationship between RDA IWM and Somerset Regional Council.
With Esk's jacarandas adding a beautiful splash of purple to the town this spring, it was a wonderful setting for another productive catch-up.
RDA IWM thanks Somerset Regional Council for their warm welcome and looks forward to continuing to work together to support the region's growth and development.
