Rees Banks, Chief Executive Officer
Rees Banks grew up in Ipswich and has returned to the region. Rees brings with him over five years of Regional Development Australia experience in Central Queensland and has an extensive background in both regional development and not-for-profit organisations. After studying at Griffith and CQUniversity, Rees will use his experience and knowledge for the benefit of the Ipswich & West Moreton region.
Robyn Longford, Finance Officer
Robyn’s role is to ensure that all financial reporting to the CEO, members and auditor is accurate. Her objective is to keep a watchful eye over all projects, ensuring that we meet all financial commitments with government departments, creditors and debtors alike, whilst maintaining financial operations at the highest standard. Robyn has dedicated over 40 years to financial services, assisting small business with start-up training, bookkeeping, budgeting, accounting, taxation and departmental reporting.
For the past 15 years Robyn has primarily focused on the not-for-profit sector. She also spent 11 years working in taxation, and 15 years as a financial controller of an Australian manufacturing company, travelling Australia, Europe, Germany and the United States. Robyn is a resident of rural Ipswich and is also involved with the local community centre, emergency relief and the Lockyer Valley Community Disability Centre, encouraging training and supporting clients to gain employment and seek business opportunities.
