Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards

Aims to showcase Australia’s inspirational teachers, celebrate their achievements and show appreciation for the important work they do.
Each year, Australian Schools Plus in partnership with Commonwealth Bank recognise great teachers or school leaders for their impact on children and school communities. The two award categories are:
Teaching Fellowship:
– Twelve outstanding teachers or school leaders receive a prestigious $40,000 Teaching Fellowship, including $25,000 for their school as well as participation in a 12-month professional learning program.
Early Career Teaching Scholarship:
– Ten teachers, with 5 years or less in the profession, are selected for a $10,000 scholarship including professional development funds and participation in an exclusive learning program supported by Salesforce.
The Awards are open to registered teachers and school leaders in Australian primary and secondary schools (hereinafter referred to as ‘teachers’) in any Government, Catholic or Independent school with students from Year K or Prep to Year 12.
The Early Career Teaching (ECT) Scholarships are open to teachers and school leaders who have been in the teaching profession for a total of five (5) years or less.
