Springfield Central State High School Celebrates International Women’s Day

Springfield Central State High School marked its first-ever International Women’s Day Panel on Monday, 6th March 2023, with the participation of RDA Ipswich and West Moreton Committee member, Cr Nicole Jonic. The event, organised by the Student Council, brought together expert panellists to share their stories and inspire the students to embrace girl power, equity, and motivation.

Councillor Jonic, who was one of the panellists, expressed her delight at being part of the event and congratulated the students on a flawless organisation. She urged everyone to celebrate the brilliance of tomorrow’s leaders and inspire them to be the best version of themselves.

The event also featured representatives from the Brisbane Broncos Girls Academy and Small Steps 4 Hannah, who shared their words of empowerment and encouraged the students to strive towards their dreams and aspirations.

As an organisation committed to promoting regional development and opportunities, RDA Ipswich & West Moreton was thrilled to have a committee member partner with Springfield Central State High School to celebrate the achievements and potential of women in our community.

We congratulate the students and organisers for their exceptional effort in creating an empowering event and look forward to supporting more initiatives that foster inclusivity, diversity, and growth.
