Launch to Employment Event Empowers Job Seekers and Celebrates Diversity
The recent Launch to Employment event, featuring the 2024 Multicultural Jobs Forum, proved to be a significant success, with 100 candidates seizing the opportunity to connect with employers and initiate meaningful employment discussions. Attendees expressed gratitude for the warm reception and supportive environment provided.
While further evaluation is underway to determine outcomes, initial feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting its impact on both job seekers and employers alike.
The success of the event was made possible through invaluable partnerships with organizations such as Link and Launch, Woodcrest State College, Multicultural Affairs Queensland, Department of Treaty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Communities and the Arts, and the Department of Employment, Small Business, and Training. Each partner played a crucial role in orchestrating an event that celebrated diversity and facilitated employment opportunities.
The Springfield Regional Jobs Committee emphasises the importance of these partnerships and extends its appreciation for their contributions to making the event a success. As they continue to collaborate and explore new opportunities, they remain committed to supporting job seekers and promoting diversity in the region.
