Bromelton on the Move – but Is Infrastructure Keeping Up?

Momentum is building in the Bromelton State Development Area (SDA), as interest from businesses seeking to establish operations in the region continues to grow.

At a recent Beaudesert Chamber of Commerce event, members of the Bromelton Business Group (BBG) and key stakeholders came together to discuss the future of the SDA and the opportunities it presents for the Scenic Rim.

The clear message from the room: infrastructure planning must catch up to support this growth. Calls for urgent action and investment were front and centre, as the region faces increasing demand for industrial expansion and improved connectivity.

Since the BBG’s inaugural meeting in April 2023, progress has been steady, with growing collaboration across sectors. The event offered valuable insights from those advocating on the ground for better planning to unlock Bromelton’s full potential.
