IPSWICH & WEST MORETON

RDA Ipswich & West Moreton’s Energy Project Showcased Nationally
RDA Ipswich & West Moreton is pleased to share that our Regional Energy Transition Collaborative (RETC) project has been selected for the Regional Renewables: Community Showcase, now available on the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts website.
The showcase highlights practical, community-led initiatives from across Australia that are helping guide the nation’s transition to net zero. We are proud that the innovative work happening across Ipswich and the West Moreton region is being recognised as part of this national collection of case studies.
The RETC project investigates the technical viability, social readiness and economic impact of new energy-sharing models that can support communities to adopt clean, affordable and resilient energy solutions. The inclusion of this work demonstrates the importance of regional leadership in shaping solutions that reflect the strengths, priorities and needs of local communities.
The Regional Renewables: Community Showcase encourages collaboration and knowledge-sharing, helping communities learn from real-world examples and adapt successful approaches to local conditions. RDA Ipswich & West Moreton is proud to contribute insights that can support other regions as Australia continues its shift toward a sustainable energy future.
We look forward to continuing our work with partners, industry and community to support energy innovation and regional growth across our region.
