Regional Collaboration Strengthened Through Lockyer Valley Catch-Up

Rees and Bri recently met with the team from Lockyer Valley Regional Council to discuss key workforce and regional development initiatives across the Lockyer Valley.

The meeting provided an opportunity to share updates on the continued growth and performance of the IWM Jobs Board, which supports local employers and job seekers by connecting talent with opportunities across the region. Discussions also covered current and upcoming regional projects, as well as available grant opportunities aimed at supporting businesses and workforce development.

An update was also provided on the progress of the Women in Agriculture project, highlighting its role in supporting women to build skills, access employment pathways and strengthen participation across the agricultural sector in the Lockyer Valley.

Regular engagement with local councils and regional stakeholders is vital to ensuring alignment and collaboration on initiatives that drive economic growth and workforce outcomes. The catch-up was another positive step in strengthening partnerships and supporting the ongoing development of the Lockyer Valley region.
