New Inala Study Hub Supporting Pathways to Higher Education
Rees Banks, CEO of RDA Ipswich & West Moreton attended the Inala University Study Hub as it enters its early operational phase, laying the foundations for long-term impact across the local community.
More than just a study space, the Hub is designed to foster a strong sense of belonging, providing students with the support they need to succeed while building confidence and aspiration into and through tertiary education. The initiative represents a significant investment in people, families and the broader community.
The Hub brings together a diverse and collaborative network of partners, including universities, vocational providers, schools, community and multicultural groups, First Nations organisations, government agencies, social services, local industry and students themselves—creating a truly connected, community-driven model.
Collaboration was on full display, with key contributors including Michelle Snell of Glenala State High School, Professor Lorella Burton and Dr Su-Ann Tan from University of Southern Queensland, Kieu Oanh Do from Vietnamese Community in Queensland, Dipu Sebastian of TAFE Queensland, and Josh Cullen from Inala Community Centre.
The Inala University Study Hub stands as a strong example of how collaboration can create meaningful pathways, expand opportunity and support lifelong learning within the community.
