Regional Leaders Gather in Lithgow for National Summit on the Future of Regional Australia
Rees Banks attended the SEGRA Foundation National Regional and Economic Development Summit in Lithgow recently, where leaders from across Australia have gathered to discuss the future of regional communities.
Held under the theme ‘A Future Made in Regional Australia’, the summit has brought together representatives from local government, industry, research and all levels of government to explore opportunities and challenges shaping regional economies.
The event provides a valuable platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing and strengthening partnerships that support sustainable regional growth.
During the summit, Rees also reconnected with key sector leaders including Ashley Bland, a driving force behind the Regional Energy Collaborative Project, and Charles Jenkinson, alongside Rees, one of the longest-serving Regional Development Australia CEOs.
