Queensland businesses invited to shape the future of energy
Businesses across Queensland are being encouraged to have their say on the future of energy, with a new survey launched to better understand the needs and challenges faced by the sector.
Regional Development Australia Queensland, in partnership with Ergon Energy Network and Energex, is calling on businesses to participate in the Your Business, Your Energy Survey.
The survey aims to capture insights into how energy impacts day-to-day operations, including the effects of outages and supply issues, cost pressures, and the growing role of emerging technologies such as solar, battery storage and electric vehicles.
Feedback gathered will help energy providers better understand how to support businesses to remain productive, resilient and prepared for the future.
Regional businesses, in particular, are encouraged to participate to ensure their unique experiences and challenges are reflected in future planning and decision-making.
“This is an important opportunity for businesses to have a direct voice in shaping how energy is delivered and managed across Queensland,” a spokesperson said.
The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete.
