Australians Invited to Help Shape New National Cultural Policy
Australians are being encouraged to have their say as part of consultation for the development of the country’s new National Cultural Policy.
The Australian Government is seeking feedback from individuals, organisations and communities to help ensure the policy reflects the diversity, creativity and aspirations of the nation, while responding to future challenges and opportunities across the cultural and creative sectors.
The consultation builds on the foundations of Revive: a place for every story, a story for every place and aims to help shape a framework that supports Australia’s arts, cultural and creative industries into the future.
Community members are invited to review the Public Consultation Paper and provide feedback through an online submission process. Responses can include a written statement of up to 500 words or uploaded submission documents in Word or PDF format.
Feedback gathered through the consultation process will directly inform the development of Australia’s next National Cultural Policy.
