Visiting Somerset Regional Council During a Colourful Winter in Esk
As cooler temperatures settle across South East Queensland, the township of Esk is once again bringing warmth and colour to the streets with its much-loved crocheted tree displays.
Each year, colourful handmade blankets are wrapped around trees throughout the town, creating a cheerful winter feature that reflects the creativity and community spirit of the Somerset region.
During a recent visit to Esk, Rees and Bri took the opportunity to capture the vibrant displays while meeting with the team at Somerset Regional Council to discuss workforce development opportunities, updates from the IWM Jobs Board and community projects supporting the region.
Despite the misty and rainy weather, Somerset’s welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community were on full display.
The annual tree displays continue to delight locals and visitors alike, adding a touch of warmth to the region during the cooler months.
