Celebrating Community Connections and Future Opportunities
Representatives from across the community came together this month following an invitation from Milton Dick MP, Speaker of the House and Federal Member for Oxley, and Charis Mullen MP, State Member for Jordan, to celebrate with local residents.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to acknowledge the strength of community connections and the important role they play in shaping positive outcomes for employment, education and wellbeing as the region looks ahead to 2026. It highlighted the impact that collaboration between government, community organisations, employers and educators can have in creating clearer opportunities and stronger pathways for individuals to succeed.
Strong community connections do more than share information — they foster trust, encourage collaboration and build momentum. These relationships help turn aspirations into real outcomes, ensuring people of all ages feel supported and can access meaningful employment and education pathways within their local area.
Both representatives were thanked for their leadership and ongoing commitment to bringing people together and supporting a stronger, more connected future for the community.
