Collaboration in the Lockyer Valley Aims to Boost Workforce Participation
Key stakeholders came together in the Lockyer Valley this week to explore opportunities under Growing Workforce Participation – Round 4, a program aimed at increasing regional employment and strengthening workforce pathways.
The session brought together Tom Rowe (TAFE Queensland), Darren Brown (Lockyer Valley Growers), Amy Nash (Growcom), and Ros Pennings (Harvest Moon) to share valuable insights on local employment needs, workforce diversity, and strategies to better engage underrepresented groups.
The discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration in building sustainable employment solutions for the region, with participants optimistic about the potential for meaningful impact through future projects.
