Overview
If you are an Eligible Registered Charity with DGR status looking to make a difference you can apply for funding by submitting a thoughtful and detailed Funding Application that meets all of the Criteria below.
The Community Project Funding aims to provide local organisations and charities with the financial support they need to expand their reach and deepen their impact. If your organisation works in one of the priority areas, this is your chance to make a bigger difference.
Two (2) Community Projects to the value of $50,000 will be awarded: One Project in each priority area.
All submissions must address all three core criteria and one or more priority funding areas listed below:
- Impact: Genuine and clear impact shown to improve/support women’s mental health in Australia
- Reportability: The outcome achieved should be succinctly reported and easily communicated to the wider community
- Awareness & reach: The project has the potential to reach wider networks to promote the outcome achieved to bring further awareness around women’s mental health.
Priority Funding Areas:
- Women’s Physical Health Conditions: 2025 Research shows that women living with female-specific physical health conditions experience significantly higher levels of psychological distress than other women. Conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, perimenopause and menopause, infertility, pregnancy loss and physical birth trauma are strongly linked to increased rates of anxiety, depression, PTSD and other mental health conditions.
- Women in Key Life Stages and Transitions: there's a need for targeted, stage-specific mental health initiatives that recognise how women’s mental health risks change across adolescence, reproductive years and midlife.
The organisation must be an ACNC registered non-profit, based in Australia with DGR status. Auspicing is not accepted.
