Harcourts Foundation Grants
Overview
Provides support for a specific event, project, item, or initiative that helps, grows, and enriches our communities.
The Harcourts Foundation, the charitable arm of Harcourts, is celebrating the major milestone of having raised over $10 million in funds since its inception in 2008!
The Harcourts Foundation is guided by core values of putting people first, doing the right thing, acting with courage, and embracing fun and laughter. These values define the Foundation’s commitment to enriching and supporting local communities.
As The Harcourts Foundation’s purpose is “to provide support that helps, grows, and enriches communities,” it maintains a clear focus on providing grants to reputable community-based charitable organisations that require funding for projects and initiatives designed to benefit as many people as possible.
Because most of the funding for The Harcourts Foundation is generously provided by Harcourts offices, applications are only considered from groups seeking support for a specific event, project, item, or initiative in a location where a Harcourts office operates. Priority is also given to areas where the Harcourts office is currently a financial contributor to The Harcourts Foundation (Note: many offices support a wide range of community initiatives through their own offices as well as through The Harcourts Foundation).
In the event that the Foundation receives more applications that meet the criteria than there are funds available, priority will be given to applicants whose grants demonstrate the potential for the widest community impact.
The Harcourts Foundation can only make grants to organisations with BOTH Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and Tax Concession Charity (TCC) status.
Grant applications must be for a specific event, project, item, or initiative.
Requests for the event, project, item, or initiative must be scheduled to occur within four months of the upcoming Grant decision meeting date. Grants will not be given for items already purchased or events/initiatives/projects already held.
You may apply as a national or regional organisation, however your application must be for a specific community event, project, item, or initiative that fits the criteria.
