Little Scientists Early STEM Education Awards
Overview
The Little Scientists Early STEM Education Awards are the only awards in Australia dedicated to celebrating STEM excellence in early childhood education. The awards proudly recognise educators and teachers of children 0-8 years who champion Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) education in their setting.
Little Scientists Early STEM Education Awards has two categories:
- Category 1 (Self-nominated) Early learning services and early primary classrooms can nominate themselves by submitting an inquiry-based STEM project co-developed with their children
- Category 2 (Peer-nominated) Individual educators and teachers working with children 0-8 years can be nominated by their peers for championing early STEM education in their setting.
The benefits of nominating in the awards go beyond being named as a winner. The process provides an invaluable professional development and team-building experience and is an opportunity to recognise your team’s commitment to STEM education on a national scale.
