RDA Ipswich & West Moreton Advocates for Regional Priorities in Canberra
RDA Ipswich & West Moreton has continued its strong advocacy for regional communities, with Rees meeting Federal representatives in Canberra this week to elevate key priority projects.
During a visit to Parliament House, Rees met with Blair MP Shayne Neumann to present the organisation’s Regional Community Needs flyers. These documents outline critical projects identified across local government areas that will support population growth, economic development, improved services, and enhanced liveability.
Rees acknowledged the ongoing collaboration with councils across Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Somerset, and the Scenic Rim in shaping the priorities.
“These projects have been developed with our councils and community stakeholders to ensure Federal policymakers understand the investment needed to keep our region thriving,” he said. “We’re focused on ensuring our people, places, and essential services are supported as our communities continue to grow.”
RDA Ipswich & West Moreton will continue working closely with local members to secure funding and support for these initiatives as part of its commitment to driving sustainable regional development.
