RDA Ipswich & West Moreton Presents to Somerset Regional Council

The vibrant jacarandas of Esk provided a stunning backdrop as RDA Ipswich & West Moreton presented to Somerset Regional Council last week.

Rees Banks shared updates on the IWM Jobs Portal, highlighting continued growth in both regional employers and job seekers. He also discussed the latest regional priority projects, which will be converted into fact sheets for RDA IWM’s advocacy, along with an overview of the recently released Project Status Report.

The meeting also introduced Janne Dipple, Project Manager for the Women in Agriculture initiative, who outlined upcoming training events and meetings with local agribusinesses across the Somerset region.

Joining the discussion was Julie Mark, Principal Trade & Investment Officer from Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ), who provided insights into upcoming TIQ programs and local opportunities for regional exporters.
