Women’s Career Grant Now Open to Help Queensland Women Re-enter the Workforce

Queensland women looking to re-enter the workforce can now apply for the Women’s Career Grant, offering up to $4,999 in funding to support their return to meaningful employment.

Applications open Monday, 3 November 2025, with funding available until 30 June 2026 or until all funds are awarded.

Eligible applicants include women aged 18 and over who live in Queensland, hold Australian, New Zealand, or eligible temporary residency, have been unemployed for six months or more, and have not previously received this grant.

The grant can be used to cover expenses such as workwear, technology, childcare, accredited training, job readiness activities, and relocation costs — providing practical support for women to get back on their feet and back into work.
